Stupid, stupid boys...
That's all Teddy could think looking at those two. His best friend Victoire, only fourteen, holding hands and leaning on that boy's shoulder. Teddy didn't even know his name. He didn't care. He was a bit taller than her, so she could easily lean on his shoulder. He laughed, leaving a fleeting grin on his face that made Teddy want to walk over and punch him straight in the cocky face.
He didn't even know why he was so mad. He just hated watching them. He tried to force himself to keep doing his work, forcing his eyes down the parchment in front of him, his fist super tight around the quill in his hand. He just coul
"Teddy!" Victoire yelled with a smile from only a small distance behind him.
Teddy sighed. He didn't want to turn around. His Quidditch friends were already turning around, smirking, making jokes, laughing. She always did this. Always showed up and embarrassed him in front of all of them. She was a fourth year, following around him, a sixth year, and at that, a Chaser.
Maybe he could just ignore her...
"Teddy!" she called again, jogging up to him and tapping his arm.
He suppresses a second sigh, stopping and turning to her. "Whats wrong, Toire?"
She smiles, not moving her hand from his arm. "Just came to say hi. I haven't actually ta
"Toire!" Teddy said with a grin as he leaned on the doorway to Victoire's room. "Merry Christmas," he repeated for the sixth time today.
Victoire giggles, shaking her head from where she was digging under her bed for a few presents to take to the tree downstairs. "Yeah, again to you, Teddy."
She stands, walking over to him. She freezes, shaking her head. "Really, Teddy?"
He stood with a goofy grin under the mistletoe that hung from the exact center of the doorway. His hands were behind his back, but Victoire could see his wand in between his fingers. He was looking at her with a wanting gaze and one raised eyebrow. "Mistletoe. How nice
Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea.
Victoire looked back at her reflection in the mirror and sighed. Honestly, when the she was going to dye her hair blue, she hadn't expected it to be quite this blue...
She just stared back for the longest time, wondering what she'd say to explain this. She couldn't exactly say there had been a reason, or even a conscience thought. It'd seemed like a good idea.
She could have thought all afternoon had Teddy not walked into the house.
He smiled, hanging his coat on the coat rack by the door with his back toward her. "Home!" he called as usual.
"Welcome back, Teddy!" Vic called back from the ba

Why They Don't Have Kids
"Sweetie, please, he just ate breakfast. Be soft with him." River sighed in exasperation as she watched the Doctor who was sitting on the floor with the newest addition to the family.
"Come to Daddy, come on." the Doctor cooed at the small creature crawling towards him. He giggled softly as the tiny one ended up rolling onto his side again. He ran his hand over the tiny, tubby belly of the creature. "Did Mummy get you all full of milk? Get you to where you can't walk? Yes she did."
River sighed as she watched the Doctor continue to rough house and instigate the poor thing. "Sweetie, please, you're going to make him sick if you don't stop."
